Reginald D. Terry II
is Co-founder and CEO of R. D. Terry Ministries, Inc. He is a graduate of Hampton University where he majored in Business Management. While at Hampton, Reginald participated on the Men's Track & Field Team, served as a class officer, and was selected as a Johnson & Johnson National Case Competition Finalist in 2004. His hobbies include: playing the piano, running and other sports, and being a contributing writer for the Youth and Teen Resources of Urban Ministries, Inc. (UMI). Presently, he is a second year graduate student at the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University in hopes to complete his Master of Divinity degree as a candidate to graduate May 2012.
Reginald is a third generation Baptist minister. He was born in Richmond, VA during his father's tenure as a student at the School of Theology at Virginia Union; however, he is a native of Arkansas. Reginald completed his high school years in Omaha, NE where his father, Rev. Dr. Reginald D. Terry (www.myterryficworld.com), currently serves and has served the Antioch Baptist Church as pastor for more than 22 years.
In November of 2010, Reginald was appointed to serve as the Vice President of the Virginia Council of Churches, Inc. located in Richmond, VA. The Council works to serve as the joining body of Virginia Churches regardless of denomination. It is the oldest ecumenical body in the Commonwealth that serves in areas of disaster relief, refugee resettlement, Chrisitan unity, and more. With his appointment, Reginald became the youngest person ever appointed to an office in the history of the Council.
Dr. R. D. Terry
ls Co-founder and COO of R. D. Terry Ministries, Inc. He is also the Senior Pastor of Antioch Baptist Church - Omaha, NE. He is a recognized evangelist and speaker for diverse occasions, and lectures at universities and seminaries around the country. Dr. Terry has served as the Parliamentarian for the National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc., and the Congress President of the New Era Baptist Convention of Nebraska.
Dr. Terry is formally trained and has degrees from Henderson State University and the School of Theology at Virginia Union University. His doctoral work was completed at Beeson Divinity School at Samford University. Dr. Terry holds other awards and honorary doctorates; and is affiliated with Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and the NAACP. He is the grateful father of Reginald Dwayne II, Renita DaNaye, and ReSheda Dionne.
